We’re all about community. We’re a diverse egalitarian Conservative congregation. We invite you to our synagogue for Shabbat services, which are held Friday evenings (at 6 pm) and Saturday mornings (at 9:30 am), and on all Jewish Holidays. Family Shabbatour kid-friendly shorter Friday evening serviceis held once a month at 6 pm with songs, dance and stories. Tot Shabbat is offered two times each month on Shabbat morning at 11 am for your little ones with their parents, with stories, songs and snacks. Our bright and modern Educational Center houses our Hebrew School, Preschool Hebrew School (a once per month "pre" Hebrew School for four-year-olds) and Tot Shabbat . What’s Happening At CSI Scholar in Residence: Rabbi Golan Ben-Chorin Friday, Aug. 11, at 6 pm, Kabbalat Shabbat Musical Kavanna Service, followed by a dairy pot luck dinner. RSVP to csioffice@optonline.net if you’ll join us for the pot luck dinner. Saturday, Aug. 12: Shabbat Lunch and Learn – The Beit Midrash of Soul & Soil. Eat, Learn and Pray! New m0nthly series on Shabbat mornings once each month. We’ll delve into our prayer service over coffee, texts, questions, and discussion. The learning sessions will be followed by Shacharit at 10 am. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to come to this new series. Summer Lecture Series All are invited to attend a Summer Lecture Series presented by Esther Cember. The series is called "Issues in Judaism: The Ongoing Challenge of Modernity." Classes will be on Thursday afternoons, for eight weeks, starting on July 6 and continuing through August 24, from 2 to 3:30 pm. There is no charge for this class, but we ask that you reserve a spot by June 30 by contacting the CSI Office at 845-358-3767 or csioffice@optonline.net to let us know you’ll be joining us. Shop at De Cicco’s in New City and CSI Benefits! Help us with our new fundraiser! Every time you shop at De Cicco’s in New City, tell the cashier at checkout that you are from and your number is #614. They record all money spent, and we get a portion of the amount in the form of a check. It’s as simple as that! Weekly Worship Services on Saturday morning begin at 9:30 am and are followed by a Kiddush Lunch. Tot Shabbat is held twice each month at 11 am in our School Building.
